Wyre Forest Model Railway Club
Welcome to the official website of the Wyre Forest Model
Railway Club based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.
THE CLUB
The club meets every Tuesday evening from 7.00 p.m. You are welcome to come along and find out more
about the Club’s facilities and layouts.
The club usually holds an annual exhibition in Stourport around September and an open day in the Club
rooms around May. Persons with an interest in railways are invited to visit either event. Members will be on
hand at both events to show you the club layouts in operation and to answer any questions you may have
about the hobby.
The club has a number of layouts in different gauges either operational or at various stages of construction.
Members bring their own stock in on running nights or to use the test track for new purchases as no stock
is held in the club.
OPEN DAY
The club will be open to the public on Sunday 14th May 2023 from 11am to 4pm with layouts both
operational and under construction. The club rooms are situated at the bottom of Comberton Hill,
Kidderminster (above Footplate).

New members are always very welcome and we will be pleased to see you on any Tuesday evening if you

Our annual exhibition was held last year on September 17th, rather than in the spring, at our usual venue
of the Stourport Community Centre, Lower Lickhill Road, Stourport DY13 8RW
Various club and member's layouts were on display in a variety of gauges. The second hand stall did well
with £200 of the income being donated to the Midlands Air Ambulance. Due to the recent death of one of
our members two of the layouts were sold.
Light refreshments were available as well as free parking and disabled access.
Listing some of our past and future events that the club is involved in.
Layouts in most small gauges, including ‘00’, ‘N’, ‘0-16.5’ and ‘009’.
Some of these layouts have been exibited around the country and won awards
