Welcome to the official website of the Wyre Forest Model
Railway Club based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.
In view of the Corona Virus it has been decided to cancel all club meetings until further notice.
Our annual exhibition in Stourport normally held in April/May has been cancelled for 2021.
We hope to be able to hold our annual club room Open Day in October 2021, but this will depend on
Government restrictions being lifted in the Summer.
No Annual General Meeting was held in 2020 and the 2021 meeting will not take place until the club is fully
open, hopefully later in the year.
The club meets every Tuesday evening from 7.00 p.m. You are welcome to come along and find out more
about the Club’s facilities and layouts.
The club usually holds an annual exhibition in Stourport around May and an open day in the Club rooms in

A successful day where members had the chance to play trains all day and talk to visitors about modelling.
Members were on hand to show the club layouts, most in operation and others being worked on, and to
answer any questions the visitors had about the hobby.
On show was mostly ‘N’ and ‘00’ gauge, some with DCC control and sound being demonstrated.
Kidderminster Charity Exhibition January 2019
On 26th January 2019 the club held a successful exhibition in the Corn Exchange building supported by the
Mayor of Kidderminster and the Mayor of Bewdley. A total of 11 layouts in various gauges owned by the
club or its members were in operation.
A good attendance resulted in around £1,000 being donated to the Mayor’s charities which included Dogs
for the Blind, Dogs Trust and the Alzheimers Society. The club would like to thank all those members of the
public who supported the event.
