Layout Manager David Rook, Deputy James Bloomfield It was originally planned to refurbish this modern image ‘n’ gauge layout but on examination it was felt that the baseboards/track were no longer up to modern standards. The layout has subsequently been scrapped and a plan drawn up for a replacement using mostly the track configuration of the original. Baseboards are being built by Philip Round. Six are complete, two in progress and four to come. The differing track levels are being built in to the baseboards.
